Ashtanga yoga is built around a vigorous, flowing sequence of postures that strengthens and tones the body while quieting and focusing the mind.  The breath plays an integral role in the practice.  The postures in the astanga series access all the body's major muscle groups and develop strength and stamina.   Ashtanga yoga leaves us stronger, more confident and more focused.
